Our Incredible Administrative Staff

Chris MacCormack

Chris is a veteran TESOL teacher and our school administrator.  Her dedication to the school and students is incredible.  Thank you Chris!

Diane Draper

Diane is one of our administrative assistants and has been with Project Light for over 14 years.  She is currently on a leave of absence.  Thank you Diane!

Grace Seibel

Grace is another volunteer administrative assistant who keeps daily operations running smoothly.  Thank you Grace!

Our Volunteer Teachers

The success of our school is dependent on our volunteer teachers.

The teachers who volunteer at Project Light are special people who give their time and expertise to help others.

Volunteer Teachers

Our volunteer teachers come from a variety of backgrounds.  Basic requirements are good English skills, patience, and empathy.  Training sessions for new volunteers are available.  Retired teachers with experience in ESOL/ESL are a plus.

If you are interested in helping out:

Please contact us via email or by the telephone number listed on our Home Page.  We simply ask that you commit to teaching one day a week for 2-1/2 hours.  First steps to volunteering are coming in for interview and observing our classes.  We'll work with you to accommodate your schedule and vacation.

Our classes are small but focused

The number of students in a classroom will vary between two and twelve students.   Attendance from from week to week varies depending on the students' schedules.

You do not have to teach

If you would like to help out but do not want to teach there are other opportunities here at Project Light.  Just call us or send us an email and we'll be glad to work with you.
